With Plunder Pawns my role was as lead scripter, which left me a lot of work to get the feel just right for an outer space themed level.
- Project had a 4 week development cycle from concept to final product
- I created a custom gravity volume to mimic a zero gravity environment as shown at runtime in the second video
- With the custom gravity I also had to create some custom Pawns and Bots that would work properly within the volume
- I also worked on a resource system to give players a score and encourage some competition (die and you lose $ to respawn)
- I created a Third Person Camera for the game to make the jump out of First Person
- Created a custom game type to ensure everything worked how the team wanted it to
